Pronounced "Leeven" by the locals, come and experience cruises that celebrate our natural environment, birdwatching and history of Ulverstone. 

You will get close up access to wet sclerophyll forest, a unique site of original forest where remains of First Nations and European settlement can be seen. Our river cruise is considered the 'Gem' in the heart of Tasmania's central north coast and has won awards for customer service and unique experience. 

With a carrying capacity of only 16 persons, the "Jus'Leven" operates all year and your Captain, Kim will share just a few of her many stories collected over 16 years of sharing her slice of home with you.

If you have a pre booked cruise and you become unwell prior to your cruise please cancel or postpone your cruise.

The Leven River is tidal, please ring Kim 0400 130 258 at least 24 hours prior to commencement of the booked cruise for confirmation of departure times, due to times calculated off advanced predicted tide times, there may be a slight variance in the departure times. Arrive 15 minutes before your departure time. Please confirm your booking and inform any special dietary requirements on email confirmation prior to the day of your booking. Cruises are on tidal water with current changes and some cruises include landing and forest walk. Walk is easy to moderate and on natural forest ground. Natural habitat of wildlife and native creatures of Tasmanian forest live within the cruise site . Your safety is at our utmost highest interest, however the natural environment always puts each individual in an exposed environment that has a risk associated to it. To help reduce these natural associations, please ensure you wear warm clothing, closed shoes, adhere to captain / tour guide instructions and stay on the tracks with a tour guide present at all times. Each individual walks these tracks knowing the high safety risk of trees overhead and native wildlife are around in their environment, therefore on booking your cruise of choice is at a known risk and all safety is at your own risk. Cancellations made inside 7 days will incur a 100% cancellation of the booking. Cancellations made outside 7 days will incur a minimum of 30% administration fee. RE : COVID-19 We are still cruising! Given the current situation with coronavirus, our cruise numbers up to 16 per cruise until further notice. We may offer an exception to this in the case of group bookings where the groups have been in close contact with each other previous to coming onboard (such as family and close friends travelling together). Please contact us to discuss further. Please note that this limitation does not apply to bookings made before today as we do not wish to cancel peoples prearranged travel plans. Our little boat, Jus Leven, is not enclosed and has plenty of air circulation from the great outdoors. however we have spring loaded blinds that can be lowered in wet weather conditions for your protection from the weather.. We have hand sanitiser onboard and will ensure that the boat is thoroughly wiped down after each cruise. We'd love to welcome you onboard, however, if any of the following applied to you, please do not board at this time if you: have any flu-like symptoms have been in direct contact with a known case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days have travelled nationally or internationally or been exposed to a person with COVID-19 in the preceding 14 days of your booking date. If you are at a high risk from a health perspective, including the elderly and those with preexisting medical heath conditions, please contact me before booking to discuss your cruise. We further request that you practice good hand hygiene, keep your distance from others on board as much as possible, and cover your mouth with a tissue or sleeve when you cough or sneeze.

Privacy Policy

Leven River Cruises, take photos of each cruise and passengers. These photos maybe used on Leven River marketing media sites example face book, Instagram, Leven River Cruise and Adventures web site and Google. Please inform your Leven River tour guide or Captain if you do want your photo of you put onto any media sites. If this is the case your photo will not be taken, to ensure your photo is not used. Your name, personal address, email or phone number is never given to a third party and is kept confidential and is not placed on photos unless verbal or written permission is given. Payment details are kept confidential and card payments are not visible to any one in the business or to a third party.
